Herbert Forest Camping Ground set in 5 acres of forest reserve just south of Herbert. It has good facilities, and would make a nice place for a quiet holiday.
It's a low cost camping ground, but with all the usual facilities, and powered sites. And, being in a forest, it is very sheltered.
It was very quiet when we visited in early autumn, but I would imagine that it would be very busy over the summer holiday period.
