The Public Dump Station at the Masterton Homestead is well designed, includes drinking water, and is suitable for large vans.
There is a large sealed parking area which is used for the Homestead bar. It may be possible to park overnight if you ask at the reception, but it is likely to be busy, and noisy, during the evenings.
