Taihape South Rest Area

There is a rest area on State Highway 1 just south of Taihape where you can stop for a break. There is room for large motorhomes.
It's set back off the main highway and has a picnic table and rubbish bins. You could stay overnight if self-contained, but there would be a lot of road noise from passing traffic.
