Reids Farm Reserve is in a quiet, secluded location alongside the Waikato river. Camping and overnight parking is allowed for motor caravanners.
We called in an a sunny spring afternoon. Even in mid-week, there were people enjoying the reserve. On a clear day, the Waikato river is an impossibly deep blue, and creates a really nice, peaceful environment.
You are able to stay here for a maximum of 7 consecutive days, making this a choice location if you want to just chill out for several days.
The toilets are pretty basic, but are maintained by the local council.
