Roselands Restaurant offers an upmarket dining experience in a stunning rural environment. The restaurant is well used by tour buses visiting the Waitomo Caves, but the restaurant is not your average tour bus refreshment stop.
We visited on a beautiful clear autumn morning, perfect for outside dining. But the indoor dining area was spacious, and had a nice view as well.
Self-contained motor caravanners are welcome to stay overnight. Of course, the main reason for driving out to the restaurant would be to enjoy a special meal out along with the luxury of being able to stay overnight afterwards.
This would also make an excellent base for visiting the world famous Waitomo Caves.
