Dunham Park is at the northern entrance to Tokoroa, and is a nice reserve with sealed parking where you can stop for a break.

There are clean public toilets and plenty of room for kids to let off some steam. Or you can just stop for a quick cuppa before continuing on your journey.

Self-contained caravans and campervans can stay the first two nights free then a camping permit is required for a longer stay. Camping in tents and vehicles requires a camping permit. This can be purchased from the South Waikato District Council offices or the district’s Information Centres. Click here for full details on the council website.

It features a large sculpture the symbolizes the harmonious merging of cultures in the area.
