Golf Club building and reception
The Huntly Golf Club is north of the power station on the western side of the Waikato river. Self-contained motor caravanners can park overnight. Check with reception as there may be a fee.
We were driving past when we noticed a number of motorhomes parked at the club, so we stopped to have a quick look. It's likely that it was a group of friends meeting together. There was noone playing golf, or in the vans.
It's a nice location, well off the main road.
