The Mercury Bay Golf Club has a large parking area where self-contained motor caravanners can stay overnight for $10 per night.
It was really busy when we arrived, and it was difficult to find a place to park. We only stayed for long enough to take some pictures.
It would be a nice place to stay, but well worth phoning in ahead of time to make sure that isn't one of their busy times.
