Warrington Recreation Reserve has a large grass area that is divided into areas for non self-contained and self-contained motor caravanners, as well as for tents.

The Dunedin council has set this up as a basic campsite, including toilets and a dump station. There are also a number of porterloo toilets scattered around the camping area.

It's set back from the beach, but it just a short walk there past the toilets and the life-guards. There can be seals, sea lions and penguins along the beach.

There is also a smaller all weather gravel parking area.
