Public dump station inside the caravan park
There is a caravan park at the back of the Mosgiel pool complex, and next to a large sports reserve. It includes a public dump station.
It's just a small campsite, and it was nearly full when we visited in mid-autumn. It's essential to book ahead of time, which you can do by phoning 027 489-5515 or 027 489-5517. Office hours are from 9am to 8pm.
This is a nice place to stay, especially if you enjoy using the pool.
It may be difficult manoeuvring large vehicles if the carpark full with people using the pool complex. Please avoid blocking entrance to camp.
Also, while we understand that the dump station is available for casual use, it is inside the caravan park, and there may not be much room for turning around if the campsite is full.
