OTAGO: DUNEDIN

The Aaron Lodge Top 10 Holiday Park offers excellent facilities in a garden environment in Dunedin city.

We called in after developing an electrical problem just south of Oamaru, and we needed to plug in to 230v to recharge our house battery. 

Typical of most city holiday parks, it was not large, and bigger vans might have a problem parking. We arrived around mid-afternoon, and it filled up quite quickly. 

The park-like ground were beautifully manicured and colourful, and the facilities were spotless. The power connection also included fresh water and a waste water drain. With the dump station close by, this would be very convenient if staying for longer.

The outdoor barbeque was set up on a deck overlooking the campground, and surrounded with flowers, and just next to the children's playground and petanque pitch.

We enjoyed our stay while we got our electrics sorted and before continuing our journey down the coast to the Catlins.
