The Kahikatea Flat DOC campsite at Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve is located in a stunning location along the banks of the Pelorus river and accessed directly from the main road.
The campsites are mainly on grass, while the powered sites have gravel parking bays and toilet facilities only. There are kitchen facilities and hot showers, which is unusual for DOC campsites, and the facilities are wheelchair accessible
Bookings required ahead of arriva. No pets are allowed and there is a total fire ban.
