Buying tickets at the booking office
The Interislander Ferry Terminal is just a short distance from Picton's town centre.
We arrived in mid May to catch the ferry back to Wellington at the end of our journey around the South Island. We'd purchased our ticket the day before, and arrived in time to have a quick look around outside before boarding the ferry.
We were quite impressed with the Interislander facilities and service. It was a beautiful clear day as we began sailing through the Marlborough Sounds and across the Cook Strait.
A great way to finish off a memorable trip.
