Donegal House is an Irish Pub where you can get a hearty meal out in the country. There is a large parking area, with power and water for up to 50 self-contained motor caravanners.
We called in late afternoon on a cloudy autumn day. We were pleasantly surprised at how well they had set up the motorhome parking area, and it was just a short walk to hot showers in the main building. The restaurant looked inviting, so we decided to stay over and take a night off cooking.
We really enjoyed to meal, with Irish artists playing on the large screen over the fireplace.
Parking overnight is free if you don't need power. Check at the pub reception if you need power.
UPDATE: 10-May=2021
We called in again in late autumn, this time with some other motorhome friends. Not only did we get to enjoy two more meals in the pub, but we were treated to some spectacular fireworks in the sky - both morning and night!
