Public toilets
Wairoa Bridge has a large reserve on both sides of the bridge, with a boat ramp. Self-contained motor caravanners can park overnight for up to 3 consecutive nigths per month.
It's a nice location, although not far from a busy highway.
There are council maintained public toilets.
