Martins Bay Reserve is right on the beachfront, and has a large parking area, and clean public toilets.
This a great place for a picnic, to do some fishing, or to just chill out for a while.
You need permission from the Auckland Regional Council to stay overnight, which is only likely to be given in special circumstances, given that they also own the Martins Bay Holiday Park.
